'Jewel of the Nile' , is one of Kevin Walek's newest. This spectacular hosta, which was registered in 2000, is a sport of another of Kevin's beautiful hostas, 'Dee's Golden Jewel'. 'Jewel of the Nile' forms a large, upright mound of shiny, bright blue leaves that are edged with a wide irregular gold border. Its near white flowers bloom in June or July.
