The new nursery in Franklinton, NC is still a work in progress. The well is finally in and the hoop houses are still going up. As promised we will have our local retail sales here this spring, so come out and see the progress. We will have a complete selection of hostas available and maybe a few other goodies also. Here is this year’s schedule.

Grand Opening Saturday, April 28^th Come get the new “Gossip” and enjoy a cold drink while walking through the hoop houses and seeing all the hostas.

Mother’s Day Weekend, Saturday, May 12^th Bring your mother and she will receive a free hosta!!!

Memorial Day, Monday, May 28^th Annual Hosta Hybridizing Tour, yes the best seedlings will be home by then, Free Hot Dogs, chips and drinks as usual and 10% off all hostas.

Since we will be back and forth between Franklinton and Chapel Hill frequently this year, both locations are open at other times by appointment only, call 919-309-0649. Please do not drop in on us as you may be disappointed to find a locked gate. We do have hostas in both locations and can have specific hostas available if you let us know in advance. Most all our plants are listed on the website, www.HostaHosta.com although we do have some others in limited quantities in Franklinton. We will try to make all this as easy as possible for you during the transition.

From Durham and Chapel Hill: Take I-85 north to exit 186A, US 15 to Creedmoor. Turn right at the end of the exit. In Creedmoor, turn right onto NC 56 toward Franklinton, east. In 13 or 14 miles turn left on to Mount Olivet Church Road. Cody’s Way is a gravel road on the left just past the church in about 2.5 miles. Parking lot is on the right as you proceed down Cody’s Way.

From Wake Forest and Raleigh: Take US 1 north, Capital Blvd., to Franklinton. Exit at NC 56 and turn left away from town, west. In 2 miles turn right on to Mount Olivet Church Road. Cody’s Way is a gravel road on the left just past the church in about 2.5 miles. Parking lot is on the right as you proceed down Cody’s Way.
