Hosta ‘Fire Island’

‘Fire Island’ (Brinka 1998) (H. longipes hypoglauca X ‘Crested Surf’) - Medium, (14” X 34”) This very bright waxy yellow hosta has some of the best purple petioles of all. The foliage does become greener in summer’s heat but this is a spectacular hosta in the spring. Nice lavender flowers on purple scapes in August.
