Hosta ‘Dragon Fire’

‘Dragon Fire’ (Lefever, Solberg 2005) (‘Riptide’ seedling) - Large, (26” X 48”) This is the rare, very large red-petioled hosta hybridizers crave. Its large blue-green wax coated leaves are reminiscent of the shape of ‘Dragon Wings’ also from Wyatt Lefever. Purple scapes with lavender flowers in July top off this medieval beast.
